Le Plastics is a waste management company headquartered in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Le Plastics was founded with the objective of solving three key development challenges: shortage of roads, poor sanitation and unemployment.
By using waste plastic to build roads, Le Plastics aims to unlock 80% of the country's agricultural potential; by introducing recycling practices country-wide, it hopes to improve the overall standard of living and hinder the spread of disease, and by employing local people, it generates revenue for the local economy and encourages innovation.
Our core team has over 30 years' combined experience in technology, healthcare, business development, consultancy, hospitality and marketing. All of our board members have 30 years' individual experience in their relevant fields. Every member of our team, core and non-core, has a passion for international development and fostering ethical business practices. We are Le Plastics, and we are here to change the landscape of waste management in Africa.
